VMware IT Academy enables instructors at academic institutions to deliver authorized VMware courses in a variety of settings.

An annual subscription fee at an approved institution enables qualifying faculty and students worldwide to gain easy access to cutting-edge virtualization technology, courses and resources.

The program provides software for personal use, whether as part of STEAM classes, in research projects, or for gaining hands-on experience with VMware products. Participating departments are responsible for covering the program's operational cost through an annual subscription fee to their students.

General Eligibility

NOTE: Courses are not intended for non-academic purposes, such as training campus IT staff or delivering for-profit training to professionals. If a breach of contract were to be identified, subscription status would be terminated immediately.

Accredited education institutions worldwide offering 2-, 3- or 4- year programs (or equivalent), and non-profits, are eligible to participate in the program.

Additional resources include labs provided by NDG, and eTexts and printed texts, both provided by Gilmore Global.
